Description
FORAGING BY THE COAST IN AUGUST
Join us for a beautiful summer day exploring the wild coastline of Runswick Bay as we wander the coastal paths, shoreline and rocky foreshore in search of edible and medicinal coastal plants, seaweeds and shellfish.
Summer is one of the most abundant times to forage by the sea. The coastline is alive with vibrant wild flavours, nutrient-rich seaweeds, salt-loving plants and fascinating marine life hiding amongst the rocks and tidal pools. Together, we’ll slow down and learn how to truly see this landscape through the eyes of a forager.
