Are you feeling you need more space in your life, right now, too? Are you struggling to fit everything in and it just feels never ending? Like we take one step forward and then suddenly 10 new steps turn up?
I’m feeling it, too, lately.
The pressure is on, everywhere! And it can feel utterly relentless.
This week, I was interviewed for the beautiful Nurtured in Nature podcast. Then I was interviewed by the Yorkshire Post, alongside Mark Mullis, about our women’s and men’s circles.
And then yesterday, I interviewed Mark for our YouTube channel and upcoming podcast because I felt what I’d heard him say in the interview was so important and more people needed to hear it!
And it all reminded me of my true purpose. Of the very reasons, I decided to run circles in nature.
There are so many times, we feel completely suffocated in our lives and having these discussions this week has brought back how utterly vital they are.
They are not a luxury.
Not like the many other luxuries we convince ourselves we need, these days.
Choosing ourselves in a way that fully aligns with our true purpose on this earth, has never been more important and couldn’t be farther from ‘luxury’ status. Spending time on yourself in this way, is never wasted time.
We can give in to the demands of this consumerist, capitalist society and play along. Or, we can get out in nature, with our community of like minded, soul-led people, learning how to work with nature to do the important healing that’s so very much needed, and choose to fight it!
The structures that have been built, to fool us into believing we are looked after, are failing us.
They have us working more than ever, for less than ever, feeling sicker than ever, while cost of living rises, food bank numbers climb, and communities and families crumble.
In my mind, there’s only one way out of this mess. We need to stay connected to everything that’s important. Each other, Mother Earth, and ourselves.
We need to empower ourselves, once again, with the lost knowledge of our ancestors, who were healthier, happier people, and who lived in harmony with the planet.

We chatted, in our conversations, a lot about the importance of the safe spaces that we create in our circles. A place where we can say what’s on our heart, fully, without interruption. Without anyone trying to fix us, give us advice, tell us where we’re going wrong or what we need to do better.
Just thinking about this churns my stomach. We can experience this pretty much every day, whenever we try to work through the challenges that face us. And it does nothing but block us from finding the answers and convince us that someone else knows what is best for us. Making us believe we have less power than we actually hold.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Only we know what is best for ourselves. We have all the power and wisdom we need inside of us, we just need the space to find it. And that’s what we do. We create that space, together.
And it’s important we do speak what’s on our heart, so that it doesn’t get stuck inside of us, with nowhere to go. Where does it go? And what damage does it cause us, when it remains stuck there?
We must speak what needs to be said. We must be heard. Fully heard. In a space where those in our circle are simply witnessing our stories, and loving us, and holding us through their expression.
And when people who come on our circles do this, they find they have the biggest releases and are able to take that newly carved space back into their daily lives, so that it feels less cluttered and less chaotic.
That space is beautiful and so very needed.
This is why I decided to run circles and pass on the skills that have empowered me on my journey, in the process.
To take women on a pilgrimage of the heart and soul. To reconnect with the earth on such a deep level, we remember who we were always meant to be.
Nature heals, so well, for a reason. Because it is truly our home.
I will be releasing the podcast details and my discussion with Mark soon! As well as the piece with Nurtured by Nature.
In the meantime, I just wanted to pour out some of what is still fresh from our conversations. Weave into others what the earth wants us to know. And continue to share pieces of my own story, in the hope of inspiring others to take action, in also finding a more authentic way, that’s a little more true to their wild and wonderful selves.
