Our first sunrise breakfast circle of 2022 will welcome the light and energy of the goddess Brigid, goddess of creation, inspiration and the fire inside of us.

We will celebrate this ancient fire festival by gathering to connect with each other and nature in the hills of the North York Moors and to connect with our inner wild woman, to help us identify the what nourishing seeds of intention we wish to sow for ourselves this year.

We begin our walk in the darkness before the dawn, as we make our way gently uphill, through the forest, to our sacred spot amongst the pine. From here, we will look out onto the countryside and towns below, as we sit in circle to welcome the light.

I will prepare a fire, to keep us warm, and bring some foraged breakfast treats, along with hot cacao to wash it down, infused with mugwort to support you to ground and centre. Then we will sit in silence, basking in the sounds of the forest, for sunrise.

After this we will relax with an empowering wild woman meditation to connect to the Goddess Brigid and then open up our sharing circle. During circle you will be invited to share and release what is no longer serving you in the safe, non-judgemental space we create together. There is no requirement to share, though. If you choose to, you can instead use this time to sit in sacred silence, to explore your own inner cave and also, so you can create space to listen and hold each woman who chooses to speak.

After our circle, we’ll gather up our belongings and take a gentle walk back down, together, to walk back into our lives with new found peace, clarity and connection.
