As we head into august we are invited to acknowledge the fading light and the slow return of darker days. It is time to celebrate these contrasts that become apparent in life, which hold so many important teachings in them and prepare for the darkness by exploring what it means. What gifts lie in the darkness of our inner caves? And how do we find joy and nourishment in such places?
Come and join us on this August blue moon, for a beautiful evening by the shore. We’ll explore the ancient teachings of caves, as we gather amongst real and very stunning caves. You will also be invited to take a labyrinth meditation on the beach, exploring the beauty that lies in the spiral, when we head into our own darkness and then return back out into the light.
For this event, you will be treated to an uplifting and empowering session of laughter yoga from our guest wild woman facilitator, Noreen Gormally, who runs Waves Holistics North East.
On top of this, we will:
– Learn all about what wild edibles grow by the shore
– Explore edible seaweeds
– Enjoy some nourishing wild food dishes prepared by Lucy
– Make our own wild teas with what we forage
– Take part in a full moon ritual for letting go and finding your creative energy
– And share with each other around a crackling beach fire with our sacred women’s circle
Spaces are limited for this event. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
The exact location will be revealed and sent to you upon booking.
IMPORTANT: Please let me know ahead of time of any allergies or other dietary requirements for the wild food dishes I will need to plan and prepare.
