Come and join Wild Roots Foraging for a guided tour of the edible and medicinal plants & fungi of the season and learn how to confidently and safely identify your findings.

Though the sun is fading, there is still plenty of delicious and fascinating wild edibles to be found in November. Come and discover what special wild treats are waiting to be discovered, this month!

We will begin with a mushroom coffee (bring a mug) while Lucy talks to you about all things wild and delicious, as well as the basics of foraging safely and sustainably.

Then we will depart on a wild food hunt around ancient ground!

During our hunt, you will:

Learn how to forage safely and sustainably

Learn how to identify wild edibles with confidence

Sample an array of tasty wild foods

Learn how to cook with what you forage

Learn how to process, store & preserve your finds

Discover how to make wild medicine, teas, infusions & tinctures

Learn folklore & history of the plants and mushrooms

Learn the health benefits and cautions

On top of this, all attendees will receive a FREE copy of the ‘Wild Roots’ Good Guide to Foraging’ ebook.

Spaces are limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Children under 14 go FREE – no need to book! As long as they are accompanied by an adult.

 

PLEASE NOTE

We do not cancel events for rain.
If rain is forecast, please come well prepared with the correct footwear and waterproof clothing.
There are no toilets available on site.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Wild Food & Drinks

As usual, we will be providing some wild food tasters.

If you would like to try some of the food provided please let us know well in advance of any dietary requirements.

We are unable to cater for dietary needs without plenty of notice, as the dishes are planned and food sourced in advance of event.

Event will be around 2.5 to 3 hours long and there is free street parking available. The exact location will be emailed to you upon booking.

Please remember to check your junk folder!

Spaces are limited, booking early is essential to secure your space.
